Carson has bowled for all four years on the boys' varsity team at Hilliard Bradley High School, with two years as captain. He has a high average of 192, a high game of 279, and a high series of 701. Carson also earned his spot on the All-Star High School team for his junior and senior years. As a freshman, Carson was awarded 3rd team All OCC, as a sophomore and junior, he was awarded 2nd team All OCC, as well as the Scholar Athlete Award and team MVP. As a senior, Carson was awarded the Hilliard Optimist Youth Appreciation Award, which he rightfully earned, by having a positive impact on his sport and his community. Outside of bowling, Carson is a member of the National Honor Society, Athletic Leadership Council, and is Hilliard Bradley's school mascot. Carson is an active member of the Scioto Ridge Methodist Church, where he is a part of their visual/production team and volunteers for Vacation Bible School annually. Carson is currently working at his church part-time, as their Director of Communications. He absolutely loves this opportunity and he has grown so much from this job.
Carson plans on attending Temple University, in Philadelphia, where he plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio and Live Entertainment, from the Klein College of Media and Communication. He plans on spending at least one semester to two years abroad at Dublin City University in Ireland. Temple University does have a club bowling team - although Carson wants to adjust to the college lifestyle before joining the team. Upon completing his education, he would like to work as an audio engineer in a live production setting. He'd like to run audio at events such as sports, broadcasts, concerts, or even maybe some PBA events in the future.
