2025 Tournament of Champions Rules
1. This tournament is open to all Central Ohio - USBC Youth members who placed 1st (handicap or actual) in the Mixed Trio No Tap, Adult-Youth Tournament, or City Tournament.
2. This is a 3-game singles tournament with SMART scholarship money being awarded for 1st place in all divisions. Bumpers will bowl 2 games.
Divisions are:
Bumper 7 and under Boys - Girls
U8 5 -7 years of age Boys - Girls
U10 8-9 years of age Boys - Girls
U12 10-11 years of age Boys - Girls
U15 12-14 years of age Boys – Girls
U18 15-17 years of age Boys - Girls
Ages are as of 1 August 2024
3. All bowlers will use their highest USBC average from the 2023-24 season. If none is available, bowlers must report their highest current league average for at least 12 games. An official league standing sheet must accompany their entry, otherwise they will bowl scratch. NOTE: Rule 319a(2) will apply. (10-pin rule).
4. Handicap will be 90% of 200 in all divisions.
5. There is no entry fee this year due to the generous donations received by the CO-USBC.
6. There will be no practice on tournament lanes the scheduled day of competition.
7. The USBC Playing Rules will cover all other situations.
8. No electronic devices, cell phones, etc are permitted during competition.
9. Bowlers must demonstrate good sportsmanship, conduct, and friendly competition with their fellow champions.
Appropriate bowling attire is required. Participants are expected to be neat and clean. Jeans, pants, capris, skorts, skirts, walking shorts (index finger minimum length) are permitted. Pants/jeans must be in good condition, free from holes, worn at waist level and may not drag on the floor. Hats are not permitted. The Central Ohio – USBC President, Tournament Manager, or Youth Committee Chairman will have the final say.
