2026 Volunteer of the Year
Todd just finished his 8th season with the Gahanna Lincoln High school girls bowling program, is the current head coach of the OSU women’s club program, has been a coach with the RKH coaching group for 8 years now, and has also been USBC silver certified for 8 years. In the 8 seasons with the Gahanna girls’ program, Todd has led the team to 8 OCC championships, 5 district championships (2 of the 3 years that weren’t wins were district runner ups), making the state championship 7 of the 8 seasons, 2 state championships, and most recently a state runner up. Todd has set not only high standards but also a well respected culture for the program.
Todd has had and will continue to have an impact on youth bowlers. Todd not only coaches youth bowlers but he builds a genuine relationship with them. Todd creates a safe space for any youth bowler to be themselves, be able to open up about things they may be dealing with, ask for help and many times they don’t even need to ask, he just offers or does. Many bowlers that no longer bowl for Todd or have moved on to being college/adult bowlers still reach out to him for advice, a listening ear, or even just to update him on their success in both bowling and their lives.
By building these relationships and getting to know bowlers personally, Todd has been able to have such a positive impact on bowlers to become better students, athletes, and just better people in general. Todd also uses the information and relationship to morph his coaching style, approach, or game plan/ decisions to give bowlers the best chance at success.
Congratulations Todd!
