2026 Top Dawg Rules
   1. This tournament is open to all bowlers who have rolled a 300 game, 800 series and/or an 11-in-a-Row and     are members of the Central Ohio – USBC. Membership cards must be presented at time of check-in. 
   2. The entry fee is $75* and entries will be limited to the 1st 100 who register and pay the full fee.  A waiting     list will be maintained if needed. If the field of 100 is not full by the close of business on Friday, May 22, walk-     ins will be accepted until 8:30 AM on the day of the tournament.
   3. Tournament event timing:
       - Check-in begins @ 7:45 AM
       - 
Announcements, National Anthem, and Pledge of Allegiance @ 8:35 AM
       - 
Practice @ 8:45 AM
       - 
Tournament begins @ 9:00 AM  
   4. Tournament Details:
       - Payout ratio is 1 in 4
       - Bowlers will bowl 4 games, moving pairs each game.
                     - Movement to be determined day of the tournament

       - Field will be cut to the top 16 at the end of 4 qualifier games
       - All scores from qualifying will be dropped
       - Top 16 bowlers will bowl in bracket-style matchplay
                       - 1st round will be 2 games – highest pin total advances
                       - One game matches each round after until there is a winner
   5. This is a scratch tournament, there is NO handicap.

   6. Special prizes for the following:
       - Top Kat (Female)
       - Old Dawg (Seniors age 60 and up)
       - B-A-D Dawg (Better than Average Dawg)
                    - Bowler with the most pins over average will win the Better than Average Dawg award
                    - 2023-2024 Composite book average will be used

   7. Tournament will be certified with the United States Bowling Congress and all USBC rules will be observed
            - USBC rules will govern any situation not covered by these rules (2025-2026 USBC Rules Book)

   8. Lane condition will be the “Dawg” house shot. 
   9. Brackets and Jackpots will be available for games 1-4.
 10. Tournament Management reserves the right to refuse entry
