2026 Youth Masters Rules/Format
1. This tournament is open to all Ohio youth members of the USBC under the age of 18 as of August 1, 2026.
2. Bowlers must have a minimum of 9 games bowled in an Ohio certified league in any of the last 5 years.
3. The entry fee is $60 per bowler - $10 lineage; $35 prize fund; $5 administrative fee.
4. Walk-ins will be accepted until 30 minutes prior to the start time, providing lanes are available. Maximum number of entries will be 120.
5. Tournament format:
A. Bowl 5 games of qualifying
B. Cut to top 16 for match play (based on 64 entries)
C. All matches will be 2-game total pinfall – winner advances
D. Single elimination bracket
6. Ties to determine last qualifying spot for match play will be determined by a 9th-10th frame roll-off.
7. Ties during match play will be determined by a 9th-10th frame roll-off.
8. Ties to determine the seed numbers will be determined by the high game of those tied.
9. Tournament will be bowled on the COUSBC house shot pattern.
10. Payout ratio will be 1:4
11. Prizes will be deposited to winners SMART accounts.
12. All other rules will be governed by the USBC.
13. The Tournament Director will have the final say in all matters.
